The tallest building in the world – one km height
The billionaire Al-Waleed bin Talal, prince of Saudi Arabia, intends to erect the tallest building of the world in the city Jeddah.
The future tower is part of a more ample project, estimated to cost 26,7 billion dollars, announce the representatives of the company assigned to draft the project, Kingdom Holding Company.
The district, named Kingdom City, will stretch over a surface of 23 million square meters and will incorporate luxury residences, hotels and offices. The building contractors of the future Nakheel Tower anticipate that it will overtake the Burj Dubai, the tallest man-built structure until present, in height. All these buildings belong to a future generation of skyscrapers bound to emerge in the following ten years.
